Not all paper shredding events are free. The majority of our events charge a fee of only $10 per standard bankers box. However, we occasionally participate in free shredding events organized by local municipalities, which are typically limited to residents of those specific cities.
Mobile Shred It also hosts one free community shredding event annually DFW Recycles Day which is open to all residents of the Dallas–Fort Worth area. Please note that the next DFW Recycles Day is scheduled for 2026.
No, paper can be brought in trash bags or any other convenient method of consolidation. Many customers prefer to use kitchen trash bags to bring their paper. If the bag is completely full, it is equivalent to 2 bankers’ boxes in terms of volume.

Can’t make it to a shredding event? You can drop off your paper at our facility in Coppell, without appointment, anytime during our regular business hours. If you would like to witness the shredding process or have a large amount of paper to shred, please schedule an appointment by calling 855-837-8326
